My Favorite Things at Target Right Now
2.09.2018

cute, affordable bookshelf decor

Okay, you guys asked on Instagram Stories, so here are a ton of my favorite Target.com finds! If there's anything that can unify us in these crazy times, it's probably Target!

Some of these I own, and many I've seen in person, so I know they're good. Others I haven't actually laid my eyes on, but hey, they're probably fantastic. I'm not worried 😂  My favorite thing to get at Target is home decor (hence the pic above, which features several Target items from the past couple of years), but I love it all!

I hope you gals found some things to put in your shopping carts! A few things high up on my list are this bar cart, this fragrance line (such pretty packaging!), more of Kristin Ess' line (purple shampoo and a rose gold temporary die? yessss), and this basket. A few things that I have and love are this rug (so much prettier in person! It's in front of my bathroom vanity), this dress, this artwork, this serving bowl, and this tray.

Velvet, Jeweled Heels
1.30.2017

Dressing up distressed jeans
Top c/o Maude (sold out)  |  Jeans  |  Heels (under $40)  |  Sunnies  |  Similar Bag

I was going to start off this post with a cheery "Happy Monday!" but to be honest I really want it to be Saturday or Sunday again. After a crazy week last week, I needed some serious downtime this weekend and just to be HOME. It was so nice. I also got to shoot some pics with my friend Brianna of Gingham and Glam and it was so good to see her and shoot some new content! Of course I forgot to Snapchat or Instagram story any of our rather comical day...fail. One of these days I'll get better at documenting my life. Maybe. 😏

You may have seen the post on my Instagram, but these velvet, embellished heels are one of my favorite purchases in a long time! I love wearing them for work, but also to spice up a casual look (like in this post). They're such a steal for under $40 because they really do look designer!

Thank you girls for stopping by today! I have tons of fresh content coming your way these next few weeks! It's really good to be feeling inspired and motivated again.

Christmas Day Outfit
12.28.2014

Vest: Target (sold out online, but bought in-store a couple of weeks ago (size XS) | similar here, here) | Top: J.Crew Factory (size small) | Skirt: Target (similar here, here) | Booties: Elliott Lucca (also available here) | Tights: Express | Watch: Fossil | Bracelets: Loren Hope, Margaret Elizabeth

As promised, I'm sharing my Christmas Day outfit! Even though we do my family's Christmas at my parents' house and it's a fairly small gathering, my sister and I always like to dress up a bit and wear something fun. I got this faux fur vest (my first ever) at Target a few weeks ago and I'm so sad that it's now sold out online, but I would say there's a good chance it's still in lots of stores for those of you who are interested/asked on Instagram :)

In case you missed it, you can check out my Christmas blog post here!

Christmas Snapshots
12.26.2014

Loved this little appearance by Russell :)

My family :)

My sister Tessa and I with our good friend/basically sister Sarah!

We used some leftover wedding and bridal shower decorations and they were stunning!

Last Christmas Trey proposed, and this year we got to celebrate our first Christmas being married! Life is so so good with this cutie :)

Happy Holidays everyone! I just wanted to share some iPhone + camera snapshots from our Christmas yesterday. My camera went into a bit of a funk towards the end so I didn't get to shoot dedicated outfit photos, but I'll post a separate outfit post in the next few days.

We celebrated with Trey's family on Christmas Eve and with my family yesterday, which always works out so nicely. We went up early in the day to hangout with my family since we don't see them quite as much anymore, and then lots of friends and family came over for dinner and it was so great!

I hope you all had a wonderful love-filled day with friends and family!

My outfit details:
Vest: Target (sold out online, but bought in-store just a couple of weeks ago | similar here, here) | Top: J.Crew Factory (super on sale today) | Skirt: Target (similar here, here) | Booties: Elliott Lucca (also still available here) | Tights: Express (the best tights if you like the opaque look + they don't slide/sag at all) | Watch: Fossil | Bracelets: Loren Hope, Margaret Elizabeth | Nails: Essie 'Fishnet Stockings'

Fall Basics
11.26.2014

Top: Target | Jeans: Forever 21 (similar) | Hat: Prima Donna | Booties: Target | Bag: H&M (similar here, here)

Two things... I've been wearing hats in pretty much every post lately, and you are all probably getting sick of them!! In my defense, my hair got snowed and rained on today, and I didn't particularly feel like re-curling it, so my hat came to the rescue ;) Secondly, I'm sorry for the very odd timing of this post. I had the day off of work but was so busy and hadn't had a chance to shoot photos this week until this afternoon. Hence the late post! But hey, better late than never :)

I know I've done a lot of casual posts lately, but I wanted to share this turtleneck sweater/sweatshirt and booties that I grabbed at Target the other night! I've been wanting a Chelsea style bootie, and was so impressed with the quality and comfort of these for the [great] price.

I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
11.24.2014

Today I'm collaborating with the gorgeous and incredibly sweet Adry of Adry on the Daily to share some Thanksgiving outfit ideas! Fortunately, Trey's family gathers around lunchtime and my family does more of a dinner, so we get to spend time with both of our families and really enjoy the whole day :) Both of our families are pretty casual and laid-back, so a sweater, jeans and boots is pretty perfect!

Sweater: Target (sized up to a medium | tons of colors & all on sale!) | Jeans: H&M | Boots: Vince Camuto | Hat: Sole Society (sold out right now | similar, in black) | Bag: H&M (similar here, here) | Necklace: Urban Gems (via Rocksbox | couldn't find online-sorry!) | Watch: Fossil | Bracelets: F21, Lily and Laura | Ring: Gorjana | Lips: Revlon 'Berry Haute'

I just love the soft color of this sweater! It looks like this color is low on sizes online, but there are tons of cute colors (I kind of want another one haha)! I usually choose sweaters that are longer and looser, but I love the sophisticated, high-end look of this one, and it's perfect for work too.

Cream Ruffles
9.25.2014

 Top: H&M (similar)
Skirt: H&M (size 6 | also love this one)
Heels: Target (similar)
Clutch: Francesca's (want this one)
Sunglasses: Anthropologie (nearly identical)
Druzy Bracelet: Margaret Elizabeth
Beaded Bracelet: Lily and Laura
Watch: Fossil
Mrs. Necklace: Kate Spade

This skirt was another NYC purchase, and it might be my favorite of all. First of all, I'm really loving cream, blush and nude tones at the moment, so this outfit is on repeat. Secondly, I love that this skirt can take you from work to date night, or to a wedding or other party with no problem. Even though this is somewhat of a fun, statement piece, it's still really versatile!

I hope you're having a great week! Mine seems to be crawling a bit, but hey, we're almost to the weekend now :)

Jacy
