The Rest of San Francisco
7.15.2015

Outfit 2
Dress: H&M (old; similar for $15!) | Heels: Steve Madden (similar here, here) | Earrings: Lisi Lerch

Our second day in San Francisco we sadly didn't do much because we were recovering from the theft (i.e. sleeping in after a long night) and shopping to replace some essentials (pants/shorts! haha) that we lost. That night we did have my cousin's rehearsal dinner on the patio of an epic Mexican restaurant called Nopalito (the 9th St. location) - I highly recommend eating there!

Our final day we did a little sight-seeing and a lot of eating in the morning and early afternoon (La Boulange is delish, by the way) before changing and heading over to my cousin's wedding at the Presidio. Their reception was held at the Presidio Social Club (the last few photos), and it. was. gorgeous. Beautiful arrangements and decor, delicious food (the best salmon I've ever had), flawless wine, and the overall perfect atmosphere. It was such a fun wedding! Not only were we reunited with all of our cousins (who we rarely see all at once), but it was just a great night of dancing and celebrating! Side note... My cousin and his wife both dance at San Francisco Ballet (seriously), so they and all of their friends were incredibly regal and make me look like a complete lame-o on the dance floor. Fortunately, it was nothing a couple of glasses of wine couldn't solve :)

I was originally going to re-wear a dress from our own wedding festivities, but when my coordinating accessories were stolen, I was so grateful that I threw this simple but elegant black dress in my bag! I'm pretty sure I only paid around $12 for it at H&M in NYC last summer, but my goodness what a great $12! It's so versatile, and when in doubt, a little black dress is always a 'do.'

Christmas Snapshots
12.26.2014

Loved this little appearance by Russell :)

My family :)

My sister Tessa and I with our good friend/basically sister Sarah!

We used some leftover wedding and bridal shower decorations and they were stunning!

Last Christmas Trey proposed, and this year we got to celebrate our first Christmas being married! Life is so so good with this cutie :)

Happy Holidays everyone! I just wanted to share some iPhone + camera snapshots from our Christmas yesterday. My camera went into a bit of a funk towards the end so I didn't get to shoot dedicated outfit photos, but I'll post a separate outfit post in the next few days.

We celebrated with Trey's family on Christmas Eve and with my family yesterday, which always works out so nicely. We went up early in the day to hangout with my family since we don't see them quite as much anymore, and then lots of friends and family came over for dinner and it was so great!

I hope you all had a wonderful love-filled day with friends and family!

xo,
Jacy
