Sweater: Target (oversized; wearing size small) | Jeans: H&M | Boots: Vince Camuto via Nordstrom (30% off today!) | Hat: Prima Donna | Bag: H&M (similar) | Watch: Fossil (on sale here) | Bracelets: Margaret Elizabeth (in 'white druzy'), F21, Lily & Laura | Necklace: Rodi Boutique (similar) | Nails: Essie 'Fishnet Stockings' | Lips: L'Oreal 'Raisin Rapture'

Today I'm wearing one of my new favorite outfits, and I would probably wear this every day if I could get away with it. I wore this for Thanksgiving (sans hat), and then dressed it up for a church event last night with my hat and a pair of heeled booties. I lucked out and got my sweater on the clearance rack at Target and was so saddened to see that they are nearly sold out online! I would love to have probably every color in this, so I will be stalking the website for a restock haha. The good news is that they restocked a small in the color I'm wearing, and have one in a charcoal gray as well. I highly recommend it - it's so soft, hangs beautifully, and is soooo long!

Also, I added this Prima Donna stunner to my rapidly growing hat collection (I just counted and have now worn a hat in 5 straight blog posts - yikes). The quality is amazing for the price and that color... is the best.

Lastly, I wanted to share that my boots are 30% off today and a great price! As you've probably noticed, I wear these a ton and they're so comfortable and have that Stuart Weitzman look.

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
11.24.2014

Today I'm collaborating with the gorgeous and incredibly sweet Adry of Adry on the Daily to share some Thanksgiving outfit ideas! Fortunately, Trey's family gathers around lunchtime and my family does more of a dinner, so we get to spend time with both of our families and really enjoy the whole day :) Both of our families are pretty casual and laid-back, so a sweater, jeans and boots is pretty perfect!

Sweater: Target (sized up to a medium | tons of colors & all on sale!) | Jeans: H&M | Boots: Vince Camuto | Hat: Sole Society (sold out right now | similar, in black) | Bag: H&M (similar here, here) | Necklace: Urban Gems (via Rocksbox | couldn't find online-sorry!) | Watch: Fossil | Bracelets: F21, Lily and Laura | Ring: Gorjana | Lips: Revlon 'Berry Haute'

I just love the soft color of this sweater! It looks like this color is low on sizes online, but there are tons of cute colors (I kind of want another one haha)! I usually choose sweaters that are longer and looser, but I love the sophisticated, high-end look of this one, and it's perfect for work too.

Sweater Dress
11.10.2014

Sweater dress: H&M (old, similar here, here, want this one) | Boots: Vince Camuto (25% off!) | Leggings: Express (30% off) | Hat: Prima Donna | Bag: H&M (similar here, here) | Necklace: Forever 21 (similar here, here) | Watch: Fossil | Bracelets: Margaret Elizabeth, Lily and Laura

This little sweater dress is from last year, but I couldn't wait to pull it out again with the cooler weather. I've worn it before with tights and heeled booties, but this was a fresh way to wear it more casually with leggings, boots and a hat (inspired by Alyson at Sequins & Things)! My black hat is a new find from Prima Donna and I'm so excited about it! There were several more expensive black hats that I had on my wish list, so I was so pleased to find this one for such a great price (just $25). Now I'm thinking of adding the burgundy and camel to round out my collection.

Annnddd, my amazing Vince Camuto boots that I want to wear every single day are 25% off right now at Nordstrom! I'm so happy with them and they look so much like the 50/50's that are out of most of our price ranges. (I've also linked 4 additional similar options below).

Mizzou Style | Leopard Scarf
10.24.2014

Today I'm so excited to be launching a 4-part Mizzou Style series with two other fabulous bloggers: Elle of Living in Color Style and Jacqueline of Stylin' in St. Louis! We all happen to be Mizzou alumni, so of course football season is a big deal. This weekend is Homecoming for Mizzou (cool fact: Mizzou is actually considered 'the birthplace of Homecoming'), so it was the perfect time to kick off our Mizzou Style series with some black and gold looks :)

Sweater: GAP (just sold out | similar here, here) | Jeans: H&M (50% off) | Boots: Vince Camuto via Sole Society (more options below) | Jacket: Forever 21 (old | similar here, here) | Scarf: Sole Society (nearly identical) | Bag: H&M (similar) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Black & gold bracelet: House of Harlow 1960 | Watch: Fossil | Lips: Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in 'Crush'

For my first Mizzou Style look I wanted to show an outfit I actually wore to a game a couple of weeks ago! A simple black sweater is a closet essential in my book, and pairs perfectly with a leopard scarf for a chic bit of 'gold.' I went with a leather bomber jacket and my over-the-knee boots for some warmth, and then of course had to have sunglasses for the game.

I hope you enjoy our new series and that you check out Elle and Jacqueline's posts as well! Have a great weekend :)

PS - here's a photo of Trey and I at the Georgia game two weeks ago :)

Rain actually had a lot to do with this post (if you live somewhere in the middle/southeast of the country you may also be experiencing days on days of rain and some massive storms)... When I woke up yesterday it was pouring and I saw it was supposed to rain all day, so I didn't really bother to do my hair. Fortunately I had a bit of wave going on so I only curled a few pieces to make myself presentable for work. Unfortunately, I ended up in the rain multiple times and my hair was less than gorgeous by picture time. So in came this hat! I happened to have it in my car, so it was the perfect addition for photos to a) hide my flattened hair and b) to wear it on the blog for the first time. Let me just say that it's an amazing hat! The quality is excellent, it's comfortable, and it has a wider brim without being too floppy. I really want it in the camel also, and I want to find a similar hat in burgundy and black (apparently I'm going to start collecting them).

I'm also so excited to be wearing these boots on here for the first time! You may have read  my fall must-haves post last week, but over-the-knee boots are all the rage right now. I'm really happy with my pair so far, and I've since found a couple more similar options for you all (linked below).

Christmas Wish List
12.16.2013

Riding Boots | Black & White Satchel | Inslee Design Mini Calendar & Print

Happy Monday! Can you believe we're at just over a week before Christmas?! I love that, but I'm also a bit stressed about it. I've finished most of my Christmas shopping, but now I need online orders to arrive on time and to wrap presents and to run tons of errands. Oh, and single-handedly decorate my office party (haha...ummm shoot).

At the top of my Christmas wish list this year are an oversized gold watch (pretty essential for gold arm-parties, yes?), and a new pair of black riding boots! I've also needed a new black parka, but just picked up this one on sale at Sears. The rest of this wish list is a compilation of cute items I would like, but don't by any means need! But everyone loves random little glam surprises right?

I hope you all had a great weekend and that your Christmas preparations are going well! It's truly the most wonderful time of the year :)
