White
3.31.2015

Sweater: Asos (LOVE it) | Tank: J.Crew Factory (on sale for under $25!) | Jeans: Topshop via Nordstrom (follow size in parentheses; wearing 'regular' length) | Heels: Target (similar here, here) | Earrings: BaubleBar (similar) | Bracelet: Rocksbox (use code 'lovelenorexoxo' to try a free month) | Clutch: Francesca's (similar here, here, here) | Lipstick: BareMinerals 'Fly High'

I'm majorly obsessed with white lately and love that mixing it into an outfit can brighten up just about everything for spring. I know you just saw my distressed white jeans a few days ago, but I've been wearing them a ton and you'll probably see A LOT of them on here (sorry!). I also just got this long, lightweight cardigan from Asos and it's exactly what I wanted... Breezy enough for spring but will work for fall and winter too (plus the price is great).

I'm also seriously crushing on all distressed denim and am on the hunt for the perfect blue pair. I love that they're a little more edgy, and I also think they just look so great with spring and summer looks (not that the slits actually cool you off...but they kind of give that illusion ;)). Have you found any that you love? I need to find some!

PS - I forgot to mention last week that my husband and I were both on spring break (the perks of working for a school district) and it was so relaxing! However, it was pretty challenging to get back in the swing of things yesterday morning and head to work. Thank goodness we're getting some gorgeous spring weather that's improving my mood! :)

Flares
3.30.2015

Top: J.Crew Factory (on sale! also love this tank) | Flares: Asos (old; love these) | Heels: Target (similar here (on sale!) and here) | Clutch: Francesca's (similar here, here, here) | Necklace: Kendra Scott via Rocksbox (use code 'lovelenorexoxo' for your first month free!) | Bracelet: Rocksbox | Lipstick: MAC 'Ruby Woo' lipstick + liner

I love that long flared jeans are making a big comeback this spring and summer because they're so slimming and elongating! I styled this look as a spring/summer date night look and love the pops of color from the jewelry.

Both my necklace and bracelet are from my current Rocksbox set, and I'm obsessed with both of them! Rocksbox is a monthly jewelry subscription service where you get a set of jewelry each month that you can wear as much as you want, and then send back when you're ready for a new set! If you fall in love with a piece, you can purchase it for 20% off the retail price, which is how I've really started to build up my jewelry collection these past several months. What I also love is that they have a "Wishlist" on their site where you can pick out some jewels you might want to see in your future sets, and you can also communicate directly with your stylist to request pieces.

You can try a free month of Rocksbox with the code 'lovelenorexoxo' (no commitment)!

Spring Weekend Casual
3.27.2015

Tee: Old Navy (on sale! men's small in 'oatmeal') | Jeans: Nordstrom (follow size in parentheses) | Flats: H&M (order 1 whole size down) | Bag: H&M | Earrings: Kendra Scott | Bracelet: Margaret Elizabeth | Lipstick: BareMinerals 'Fly High'

Since I got these distressed white jeans in the mail last weekend I have hardly worn anything else out the door! They're so comfortable and the perfect mix of classic and edgy. White jeans are an absolute closet staple for me, especially in the spring and summer, because they're a great transitional piece for cooler days or days when you just need a break from shorts (anyone else have days when you just don't love your legs? haha).

I love pairing simple pieces and lighter colors together in the springtime for an easy casual look and this is the perfect example. I also have to point out that my tee is from the Old Navy guys section but it's so soft and I love that it's a bit oversized (and under $7 online right now with tons of colors)!

Jogger Pants + Giveaway
3.23.2015

Tee: H&M (very similar) | Pants: Fevrie c/o (true to size) | Heels: Prabal Gurung for Target (similar) | Bag: Phillip Lim for Target (nearly identical) | Sunnies: Karen Walker | Bracelet: Margaret Elizabeth

Jogger pants are a bit outside of my comfort zone, but I love the challenge of styling something new and now absolutely love them! There's really nothing better than looking put-together while being so comfortable. These Fevrie cropped joggers are so soft and lightweight, so you barely feel like you're wearing such a cute pair of pants that work with anything from sneakers and a tee on the weekend to heels and a blouse for the office.

In addition to the giveaway below, Fevrie is also offering a discount code to my readers for 15% off! You can redeem it by using the code 'JACYOVERSTREET' through 4/15/15.

I'm so excited to have a giveaway for $50 to Fevrie.com! The giveaway is open to US residents, and the winner will be announced next Monday, 3/30/15. Good luck!

I feel like I am going absolutely shoe crazy this spring! There are so many trends and styles I love this year, so I have a lot of shoes on my wish list at the moment. The reason I put my spring/summer shoe guide together early in the season is because I waited way too long to buy sandals last year. I had so many expenses and so much on my plate with the wedding and buying a house, that I didn't start sandal and shoe shopping until June and July, and by then a lot of things I wanted were sold out and I didn't have much time left to wear them. So, my recommendation is to start buying your spring and summer shoes as soon as possible! Then you can make sure you get exactly what you want and get to wear them for months to come :)

Slide Sandals:
I'm obsessed with this minimalist trend and think they are so chic! J.Crew has a lot of gorgeous options, I just got this Steve Madden pair in the mail (love them), and Old Navy has some for just $12 right now! Also, if you want to brave the Birkenstock style, you can try this cheaper version from Target, or go with the real deal Birkenstocks (which I've heard are incredible).

Ankle Strap Sandals:
This is a style I searched and searched for last summer but they weren't very popular yet. Obviously, I'm now ecstatic that these have gotten big and that they're available at a lot of different price points. I'm definitely planning to buy this Steve Madden style in black and maybe coral too, and this J.Crew pair would be a great investment staple as well.

Strappy Sandals:
I've always loved strappy sandals and think they can be both edgy and feminine. These can vary a lot in style, so there's definitely something for everyone. This studded Rebecca Minkoff pair in blush is calling my name!

Heeled Sandals:
I love heeled sandals and they've jumped ahead of wedges for me and are often just as comfortable (especially with a thicker block heel). They're versatile because they're great for work in the summer but equally as great for dressing up more casual or flirty pieces for parties, vacations or date nights.

Espadrilles:
The espadrille trend is a brand new favorite of mine, but I think they are classic and absolutely darling! There are lots of designer versions available, but I love this Old Navy pair for just $23 and just discovered the affordable and adorable Soludos espadrilles. This style will look so cute with any kind of jeans in the spring and then with distressed boyfriend shorts, chino style shorts and sundresses/skirts all summer long!

What shoe trends are you loving this season, and which shoes in particular are you dying to get your hand on?? I just ordered a pair of classic white Converse sneakers, which I think will be so cute to mix into my wardrobe for a relaxed, comfortable look.

Thanks so much for reading!

Windblown
3.18.2015

Top: J.Crew Factory | Jeans: Gap (old; very similar; cheaper options here, here) | Heels: Target (similar) | Clutch: Francesca's (similar & 25% off) | Sunnies: Karen Walker | Watch: Fossil | Bracelet: Margaret Elizabeth | Lips: MAC 'Ruby Woo' lipstick + liner

Holy wind! There's nothing like some windblown hair to narrow down your photo options for you reealllll quick ;)

We've had some gorgeous spring weather, but for the most part there's still a chill in the air so I've been sticking mostly to long sleeves and jeans. However, to avoid looking too wintery, I've been opting for lighter colors (cream, nude, blush pink) to freshen up my outfits and evoke that spring feel.

Blush + Black
3.17.2015

Top: sold out Forever 21 (want this blush tunic blouse!) | Pants: H&M | Bag: H&M (similar here, here) | Shoes: H&M (go down 1 whole size) | Sunnies: Karen Walker | Necklace: BaubleBar (non-pearl version here) - both 30% off today! | Watch: Fossil | Bracelet: Margaret Elizabeth

I'm always on the hunt for ways to make my work attire interesting and fashion-forward while still being modest and professional. So, I love when I find tops with some kind of interesting detail, or with a longer length! Then, I just add interest and texture with accessories - in this case my heels and statement necklace.

I've always loved blush pink, but I'm just extra obsessed with it lately! It's so airy and feminine, but I love how well it pairs with black and white, so it can be a bit edgy too when you want it to be. I picked up some blush pink tulips at the grocery store over the weekend and it's amazing how much they've lightened up our living area!

PS - Both my statement necklace and the non-pearl version are 30% off right now!

Life Lately
3.13.2015

From time to time I like to share some Instagram snaps (find me at @jacyoverstreet) and catch up on what's been going on in my world lately!

Sunglasses | Lipstick + Liner ('Ruby Woo') | Similar Earrings | Necklace | Watch | Similar Sweater (on sale for $12)

I've been sick A LOT this winter, so I'm happy spring weather has finally arrived and I'm hoping that means all of the nasty viruses go away. The small positives of being sick are staying at home, reading, lots of tea, and comfy PJs...

Old Navy PJs (on sale + extra 30% off today)

I've always been a big fan of BaubleBar but recently started buying more of their jewelry. Their quality is great for the price and I LOVE their high-end and polished, yet edgy look. These earrings have become my absolute favorite statement earrings and I love that they add instant glam to an outfit. Sadly they sold out yesterday afternoon (ugh) but I found a very similar pair that I love just as much.

These shoes are all I want to wear. Seriously. They're crazy comfy and cute, just order 1 whole size down.

I made this vegan berry smoothie bowl last weekend and it was AMAZING. It was one of my favorite things I've ever made and I will definitely be making it a lot on weekends.

Another recent BaubleBar purchase that I'm loving!

Sunglass Hut suprised me with this amazing Valentine's Day gift of these Ray-Ban aviators! Aren't they adorable??

And I know Valentine's Day was a month ago, but I just had to share this gorgeous bouquet Trey surprised me with! We never do flowers but this was the sweetest surprise. Well, that and Taylor Swift tickets for September - ahh!!

We had the best Valentine's weekend and it was amazing to go out of town and try some new restaurants (and of course shop).

I couldn't leave out my little babes Russell and Lulu :)

Thanks so much for reading, and have a great weekend!
