I debated on doing a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post because overall I think the sale is a bit overhyped by bloggers AND because it's nearly impossible for me to think about my fall wardrobe when I'm currently sweating my ass off in Missouri. BUT there really are some good deals and great pieces to take advantage of, so I decided to do a little roundup post! I am not a Nordstrom card holder, so I haven't been able to shop the sale until today! Therefore, I figured I wouldn't promote it until it was public either. While a lot of things did sell out over the past week or so, there are still some really good finds left! I rounded up my favorites for you :)

My top picks: I've been waiting all year to buy more Zella high-waisted leggings at the sale price! These are my all-time favorite leggings! They have really good support and compression, are very high-waisted, and they hold up to lots of wear and tear. I wear and wash mine like crazy and all 3 of my pairs are still in great shape. If you have small feet then you're in luck, but I'm crossing my fingers that these sneakers get restocked in either color! I'm obsessed! My very favorite bra is on sale (I have it in two colors)! Natori has some other styles on sale too. I've been wanting to try some products by The Ouai, so I may pick up this set since it's such a good sampler! ----- Are you planning to buy anything??
This was the first face oil I tried starting back in the spring, and after months of using it, I truly believe in its magic. Crazily enough, my previously oily skin is so much more balanced now, and this oil helps to heal acne and redness as well. I also apply what's leftover on my hands onto my neck, and the texture of my skin has completely changed. Bonus points: Herbivore is a clean skincare brand, and this product is clean and cruelty free. I alternate it at night with the Acure oil below and also add a couple of drops to my morning moisturizer.
I discovered this skincare line through Thrive Market and couldn't be more obsessed. All of their products are squeaky clean - cruelty free, vegan, and free from parabens, sulfates, phthalate, mineral oil and more. I'll be sharing my updated skincare routines soon, but definitely check out Acure in the meantime! I love using this $10 face oil as the last step in my nighttime routine for locking in tons of moisture. Also: argan and rosehip oils are non-comedgenic - meaning they won't clog your pores!
I ordered a sample of this eye gel from Biossance, and am loving it so far! It's also lasted me weeks already because a little goes a long way. I'm definitely noticing brighter undereyes, and love that it's lightweight, easy to blend, and perfect for wearing under makeup.
My friend Jo told me to get this $4 lip pencil, and I legitimately haven't used another lip liner or lipstick since! I use it to line then fill in my lips, then simply top with some lip balm. It's a beautiful nude color that makes your lips look plumper with a finished, yet natural look! As long as I top with a little lip balm it's not drying whatsoever either.
You've probably noticed that I'm fully embracing the hair scarf trend, and I love that they dress up your hair just a bit. I've never had great hair for wearing "up" but hair scarves help to elevate the look. I love these Free People ones because they have a built-in scrunchie that makes them really easy to wear (and they stay put!). You can wear them with a ponytail like above, or wrap them around a top knot. So cute!
I was so nervous to wear bigger hoop earrings, but these $10 hoops from the BaubleBar for Target collection have completely converted me! They've easily been my most-worn earrings this summer and I love that they're lightweight (they seriously don't hurt my ears at all). They also come in silver and rose gold!

Traveling to Austin with my Best Friend Hopefully you followed along with Jo's and my roadtrip to Texas, but we loved Austin so much! It quickly became one of my favorite US cities, and I can't wait to go with Trey sometime. You can find my Austin travel guide here. I highly suggest going on a road trip with your best friend sometime! You may have seen on Snapchat, but I got this top in the mail on Tuesday from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and had to try it on right away. I tried it on with high-waisted jeans and over-the-knee boots (Steve Madden that I also got from the sale!) and it was such a cute outfit that you'll definitely be seeing on here sometime this fall! But, since it's been restocked in all sizes + in olive green, I also wanted to style it for now...meaning I wanted it to be wearable for the 100+ heat index weather we have right now. Even though I would have preferred to wear this with a true high-rise short, I still liked how this look came together. The drapey twist detail of the top is so much more interesting than your typical short sleeve top, and the platforms and bag added a bit of edge as well.
I also want to share the ah-mazing Popsugar MustHave box that I got in the mail this week! Popsugar was so kind to send me their limited edition box curated with the CFDA, and there were so many luxurious surprises inside. I seriously couldn't believe everything I was unwrapping and I was gushing to Trey the entire time as he halfway listened to me ;)

Oh happy day! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (one of my two favorite sales of the year) is now public! I'm sure you've read all about it on so many other blogs this past week, but if you're like me and don't have a Nordstrom card, you can finally shop the sale! A lot of things have sold out in the early access sale, and I was honestly expecting Nordstrom to restock some stuff for today. So far it looks like they haven't restocked any of the items I checked, BUT there is still so much great stuff! The sale is very overwhelming to look through because of the sheer volume of it, but I've gone through everything that's still in stock to round up for you guys. I've broken everything up into categories below! In my opinion, the best part of this year's sale is the shoes, and primarily boots! So I'm starting there...
Tall/Over-the-Knee Boots I honestly can't believe how many good options there are for OTK boots this year! There are so many good deals in the sale. I ordered these in gray, and these in black! I cannot wait for them to come in!
Booties & Other Shoes There are also some super cute ankle boots and flats, which is good because I needed some new suede booties! I ordered these and they're supposed to arrive today, so I'll let you all know how they are on Snapchat (un: jacylenore) and Instagram this evening!

Workout There are some really cute workout & lounge clothes still available in the sale. I ordered these Zella leggings (on sale for $33!) during last year's sale and wore them at least 4x per week all fall, winter and spring! There's a reason they have hundreds of 5-star reviews. They're thick and super slimming, and I actually like them way better than my Nike leggings. I'm going to order the cropped version since they'll be great for both working out and hanging around the house - plus they're only $25 (half price!) right now!

Accessories I mentioned this bag in yesterday's post, but I love both the blue & the tan! It's such a good deal for a high-quality fall cross-body!
Miscellaneous
This is so random, but I've been looking for a bra that has a just bit of cushion (I'm over the VS padding haha) and no underwire. I'm an A-cup on a good day (TMI?) so I don't need a lot of support...I just need something comfortable that will give a little better shape than a bralette under certain tops. I found this bra, which looks like the perfect solution! Sadly, it's sold out in my size in the nude, but I ordered the black and will let you know how it is when I get it.

Choker: ASOS | Lips: Colourpop How is it already Monday?? In case you missed it on my Snapchat (jacylenore) and Instagram, Trey and I are in Nashville for a mini vacation and are absolutely loving it here! Today is our last full day here, so I'll be soaking it up as much as possible. This morning we're headed out to shoot a couple of outfits, so you'll be seeing those posts sometime this week, as well as a travel diary post :) As for this romper... I think it's sooo comfy and cute. It's one of those rompers where you truly feel like you're wearing PJs, and couldn't be more perfect for a vacation. It's my friend Brianna's, and she was so sweet to let me borrow it and style it. As I'm sure you've all heard, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing. It opens up to non-cardholders on Friday, so I'm excited to take advantage of the great prices and to purchase a few things then. This is my very favorite sale because you can buy fall items at a marked down price and then already be ready for the upcoming season. There are truly so many cute pieces this year! I thought I would share a few below if you're like me and like to make a game plan of what you're purchasing ahead of time :) I will definitely be purchasing these booties, but so badly want these too.
I know every single other blogger is posting about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale like crazy, but it really is a good one! My wish list and shopping purchases this month have all been wedding or honeymoon related! We're spending most of our honeymoon in NYC, so I've been buying lots of fun things to wear there that I might not normally wear in a small town in Missouri ;) I can't wait to share all of my outfits with you from my trip, but they'll include the lace romper above, that amazing swing dress, the striped cami, crop tops with skater skirts and high-waisted shorts, and lots of sandals and cross body bags. I wanted fun, cute things that were also functional for hot weather and lots of walking around the city (cannot wait to explore). In additional the adorable studded sandals above, I also bought these crazy comfy gladiator sandals that are super on sale right now. To top off my outfits I'll add low key extras like my bundles of Lily and Laura beaded bracelets (perfect for layering with other things) and an easier-than-lipstick tinted gloss.

I also wanted to share that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicked off to the public today! This is Nordstrom's biggest sale of the year where they place new fall and pre-fall merch on crazy discount. I've shared my favorites from the sale below, and you'll notice that many of them are higher-ticket items that I normally share on my [poor girl] blog. However, this sale is a good time to buy quality investment pieces you've been eying for awhile (for me, probably some black riding boots).
