2018 Holiday Gift Guide + Nordstrom Giveaway
12.12.2018

2018 Christmas Gift Guide | Love, Lenore
I'm a little late to the game with my gift guides, but hopefully some of you have procrastinated and will still find this helpful! 😉 I decided to put my ideas all in one post this year, so that it can be your one-stop holiday shop!

GIFTS FOR HER
These are some general ideas for the gal pals in your life, whether it be friends, your sister or your mom/mom-in-law - there's a little something for everyone here! A few of my favorites are these wine glasses (I have and love), an Instant Pot for gals who like to cook, these cute fuzzy slippers, and this soft thermal. You can also never go wrong with a spa or mani/pedi gift certificate either!

GIFTS FOR THE BEAUTY QUEEN
I LOVE giving beauty gifts, and there are always great deals and cute sets this time of year! I've found that it's sometimes hard to pull the trigger on a fancy face mask or face oil for yourself, so I like to pamper others with these types of gifts.

GIFTS FOR THE HEALTHY GIRL
As a wellness-obsessed person myself, I couldn't leave out some healthy girl gift ideas! You definitely can't go wrong gifting some cute Outdoor Voices pieces, and I would love this pretty NutriBullet for daily smoothies.

GIFTS FOR THE GIRL ON THE GO
My parents got me a suitcase set last year, and it was an amazing gift! I want to travel more in the future and I know a lot of us feel the same, so I thought a travel gift guide for her would be put to good us!

STOCKING STUFFERS FOR HER
And....stocking stuffers! Always some of my favorite gifts to pick up. I love these scrunchies, this lip balm, and this portable charger.

GIFTS FOR HIM
Guys can be so hard to shop for, am I right?? Trey's favorite gifts are usually experiences (sporting events, concert tix, etc.), but I like to mix in some other gifts as well.

STOCKING STUFFERS FOR HIM
And I couldn't leave out stocking stuffer ideas for your guy!

ON MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST
I thought I would share a few things on my own Christmas wish list! I think Trey and I may gift ourselves a record player, but we're not sure yet!

2017 Holiday Gift Guide
12.06.2017

Love, Lenore 2017 Holiday Gift Guide
Voluspa Candle (c/o)  |  Tocca Travel Perfume (c/o)  |  Lipstick  |  Paula's Choice Mask  |  Frame  |  Book

Hopefully better late than never... Here is my 2017 Holiday Gift Guide! I included gifts for her, gifts for him, and gifts for kids - all broken up into under $50 gifts and under $100 gifts! Even though we don't have kids yet, I actually buy a lot of gifts for kids between my nephew and five nieces, and a lot of my friends are in the same boat, so I decided to include kiddos for the first time this year. I honestly think those were my favorite gift ideas to pick out! 😌

Gifts for Her | Under $50
Other ideas: photo book or framed family photo (for moms & grandmas), a bottle of wine + a cute wine stopper, Capri Blue or Voluspa candle

Gifts for Her | Under $100
Other ideas: bottles of her favorite wine + a wine stopper or new glasses, a spa gift certificate, collection of skincare & beauty products

Gifts for Him | Under $50
Other ideas: bottle of high end liquor or certificate for a tour + tasting experience, grilling accessories, man cave decor (framed posters, books, penants, etc.)

Gifts for Him | Under $100
Other ideas: concert or sporting event tickets (may be over $100 for 2 people, but wanted to include!)

Gifts for Kids | Under $50
I personally love to give kids books and board games/puzzles instead of toys, but also love giving clothes and cute stuff for their rooms. Our nephew loves to get stuff related to his favorite sports teams.

Gifts for Kids | Under $100

Happy Shopping! I hope you found some of these ideas helpful! xx

My Christmas/December Wish List
12.13.2016

I had some requests to share my Christmas wish list, so I kind of combined it with my December wish list! Sometimes it's hard to come up with a list of things to ask for for yourself, so I've been curating this for a few weeks now as I think of ideas! Hopefully it will give you some inspiration. I only put a few of the items in the collage, so make sure to check out the widgets below as well!

Trey and I are actually not exchanging gifts this Christmas. We leave next Friday for Utah, for a vacation with my family (more on that later), so we've been buying ski and winter clothes, and will spend extra money on experiences together :) I'm perfectly fine with that!

More items I'm loving and would ask for!

Other last minute ideas for yourself or for others (since Shopbop has free 3-day shipping)!

Stocking Stuffers & Gifts Under $25
12.06.2016

I've decided not to do as many gift guides this year since it feels like there are a million out there in the blogging world, but I ran a little Twitter poll and some of you gals requested an under $25 guide and I threw in stocking stuffers too! Everything below is $25 or under :)

Here are some more ideas too...

For the Bar Cart
Tito's Vodka or wine always make for a great gift, and I also love the idea of gifting cocktail glasses or copper mugs. You can also gift a mixer set, or pretty bottle opener. There are so many options in this category!

For the Book Lover
If you have a friend who loves to read, or loves a certain author/celebrity, books are always a meaningful gift - and you can inscribe them! You can gift a book that made an impression on you, or a coffee table book to someone who loves decor. I have the SkinnyTaste cookbook on my Christmas wish list, and I think Mindy Kaling's books are hilarious!

For the First Digs
When we bought our house, we had no idea how hard it would be to decorate an entire space on a small budget (we're still working on it). There are lots of homey items you can buy under $25 - candles, picture frames, prints, decorative accents, coasters, vases and candle holders, and even holiday decor! I recently picked up two of these frames at IKEA, which look so high end, and would be a meaningful-and-chic gift with a photo inside.

For the Fashionista
Choker necklaces are one of my favorite gift ideas this year because they're typically pretty affordable, and there are SO many gorgeous options on basically every site. If you want to gift clothes, H&M has some really gorgeous pieces under $25 like this lace trim cami, and this slip dress that comes in 4 colors!

Gift Guides for Him + Her
12.11.2015

If you're like me and like to do the majority of your Christmas shopping online (no lines and traffic + shopping on my couch = yes please!), it's just about go-time for ordering to make sure you get everything in time for Christmas. So, today I'm doubling up on gift guides for the guys and the gals to give you lots of ideas and just enough time to order! I'm really excited to be almost completely done with Christmas shopping as of Cyber Monday, minus just my mom and one of my nieces. If you do have a lot left to buy, just relax and browse online with a glass of wine :)

Gift ideas for your mom, sister or bestie

I kept this gift guide broad and at a wide range of price points so that it could encompass anyone from your mom or mother-in-law to your sister, daughter, best friends and more! My little sister is my very favorite person to shop for and I'm usually on the lookout all year for the perfect items to spoil her with :)

Gift ideas for guys
Sneakers | The Rap Yearbook (my husband has this & loves it) | Flannel
Watch | Hat | HONY Book

I stuck with relatively affordable items (minus the watch) for this gift guide, because Trey and I usually do bigger gifts for birthdays and smaller gifts for Christmas since there are so many other expenses this time of year. I often like combining several smaller things so that I can give him more items! My dad is hard to shop for, but books or cocktail/wine/beer related gifts are usually a hit ;)

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you got some gift ideas and get to wrap up your holiday shopping stress-free. Have a great weekend!

Jacy

Stocking Stuffer Ideas
12.08.2015

Even though I don't have kids yet, I still love buying stocking stuffers for my family. My mom has given my sister and I an ornament in our stockings every single Christmas since we were tiny, so now I have a sweet little collection that I cherish pulling out each year. I can't wait to start that tradition for my own kiddos someday! I love picking up special little gifts for people anyways, so during Christmas it's extra fun to pick up that one extra item for each person.

Sometimes it's hard to get creative with stocking stuffers and by that I mean it's easy to get in an ornament and candy rut (both of which are still fabulous to receive though!). So, I hope that these ideas get the ball rolling! I've been doing all of my Christmas shopping online and fortunately there is still plenty of time to order and get in time for Christmas without paying for rush shipping :)

Stocking Stuffer Ideas | Love, Lenore

These things are obviously all pretty girly (with my favorite - a lot of beauty products), but several of these ideas can be tweaked for guys. Some suggestions are... A beanie, cologne, hair styling product, a phone case or unique socks (my guys loves taller patterned socks to wear with his dress shoes & boots).

I'll have some more gift guides out later this week + be sure to keep checking my 'Holiday' tab for all holiday-related content :)

Gift Guide for the Hostess &/or Homebody
12.02.2015

Gifts for the hostess or homebody

Hopefully I'm not the only one who has frantically run to the store on the way to a holiday party to grab a bottle of wine for the hosts. While I will happily accept wine as a gift any day, I put together some affordable gift ideas that you can bring to a Christmas party, or give to a friend or family member that loves entertaining or decorating. I'm a bit of a homebody and love both decorating and having people over, so I appreciate gifts for the home that I can decorate with or use when I host dinners.

$10 & Under
  • Chic + witty tea towels. At just $5.99, these tea towels would make an adorable and super affordable gift that a hostess can spice up her kitchen with every holiday season.
  • Wine bottle cork. I have one of these and love it because it makes it easier to store my wine in the fridge, and it adds a touch of glam. This one is just $6.99 and is a great alternative to gifting a bottle of wine.
  • Mercury glass votive. At just $5 + a small candle, this votive would make a lovely gift that can be re-purposed in many ways (makeup brush holder, succulent pot, refilled with another candle, etc.).
  • Spoon rest. This is something I don't own that would actually be incredible useful + a cute addition to any kitchen. You can pick up this one for just $6.
  • Bottle opener. My only bottle opener at the moment is a part of my can opener. So not cute. At just $10, this gold one is super chic!
  • Pretty/unique mug. I know I'm not the only one who wants just about every Anthropologie mug ever made. This special edition mug comes out only at Christmastime each year (and usually sells out quick), but it's a favorite I reach for all year long. When gifting, I like to put a few k-cups or hot cocoa packets + a cinnamon stick or candy cane inside just to spice it up a bit.
  • Candle. A pretty fool-proof gift that just about everyone loves. This one is already wrapped and is only $6. Target, Marshalls & TJ Maxx are also great places to look!

$20 & Under
  •  Unique decorative pieces. This gold wishbone would make a fantastic coffee table accent piece placed on top of a stack of coffee table books!
  • Holiday cookie cutters. This set of copper cookie cutters is just $12.99 and would be adorable for someone who loves baking holiday goodies.
  • Jingle bell drink stirrer. For the friend who always has a perfectly curated bar cart, this darling drink stirrer would be the perfect gift.
  • Snowflake trivet. This trivet would be cute + festive for placing hot appetizers on at a holiday party.
  • Unique cookbook. We all know someone who actually loves to cook (both my mom & sister), so a unique cookbook that suites them can make for a special gift. I love the idea of this clean eating cookbook for just $16.

Over $20
  • Coaster set. A great set of coasters makes a chic addition to any coffee table + had a practical purpose as well. This gilded set is lovely, and I also recommend checking TJ Maxx and Marshalls for more steals.
  • Coffee table books. A well-curated stack of coffee table books serves as both a decorative element and a conversation starter. "Elements of Style" is one of my personal favorites.

Hopefully this gave you some fresh gift ideas! I've now placed several of these on my own wish list ;)

Gifts for Your Guy + Cyber Monday Sales
12.01.2014

I was so excited to realize this morning that Christmas is just 25 days away! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! We had some nice weather, so we were able to work in our yard this weekend after enjoying the awesome Mizzou/Arkansas game on Friday.

Between Black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving night and the Cyber Monday sales today, I have Christmas shopping on the brain! I already bought one present for Trey, so I'm weighing some other ideas to fill out his gifts. Guys can be really hard to shop for, so I wanted to put together this guide (and I included some extra ideas below)! In the past Trey has enjoyed getting Beats headphones, brown boots (his are suede but I like the leather above too), Nike tennis shoes (always), the craft beer glass set above, and bluetooth speakers (we have the Sonos).

Gifts for Your Mom & Sister
11.25.2014

We are officially in holiday season (this is my last day of work until Monday - cheers!), and I'm so ready to start my Christmas shopping! I always enjoy shopping for my mom and sister, but they're both pretty picky, so it can be a difficult task sometimes ;) My mom loves getting things like slippers, throw blankets, and home stuff, and my sister is in college so she usually wants fun things she can't always buy herself like jewelry, sweaters, scarves, books, etc.

I've linked everything above, but feel free to let me know in the comments section or via email (lovelenoreblog@gmail.com) if you would like help finding anything else online! Gifts for your Bestie {Under $35}
11.18.2014

I've so been looking forward to my Holiday Gift Guide Series, and what better way to kick it off than with fun, fabulous gifts for your friends?? I'm someone who absolutely loves picking out gifts for people, and my best friends are so fun to shop for. Over the past couple of years I've started putting together gifts made up of several smaller things so that I'm able to give them a bit more! Plus, I think it's fun to open a few different things anyway.

These adorable gifts are all under $35 (and start at just $5), so you can easily mix and match without breaking the bank! Christmas is just 5 weeks away, so get your shopping on ladies! :)
