Because it's not enough to be one of the world's biggest supermodels and a blockbuster actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is also quite the fashionista. She has burst onto the fashion scene (outside of modeling) for her Bohemian street style and ultra-glamorous red carpet looks

Her street style looks are impeccably put-together but perfectly disheveled at the same time and she has become one of my top style inspirations. As you can tell from just this small sample of photos, she has an affinity for suede booties, amazing jackets, large bags, skinny jeans, and the most perfect hats. How can one possibly look so amazing walking down the street?! And what to even say about her red carpet looks... She continually amazes with her jaw-dropping gowns and glamorous hair and makeup.

homecoming.
10.26.2012

Blouse & skirt: Forever 21. Booties: Target. Jewelry: gifted & vintage. Nails: "Stormy" by Revlon.

It's homecoming weekend here at the University of Missouri (aka Mizzou) and I'm so excited! So, in honor of this fabulous weekend, here is a homecoming-inspired look! Can you tell our colors are black and gold? :) Homecoming is really important at Mizzou because it was started here (in 1911!) and it's a great opportunity for students, alumni, and families to gather together. I can't wait for the football game tomorrow and all of the other festivities.

In case your favorite team's color are also black & gold, or you love the classic combination, here are some glam ways to wear the colors!

4 Ways to Style a Fall Skirt {4}.
10.23.2012

Skirt: PacSun (old, but I like this one or this gorgeous sequined one). Sweater: Nollie from PacSun (similar here). Boots: Aldo Shoes (old, but love this western-inspired pair). Bangles: Forever 21. Earrings: Aldo.

I wore this outfit to a concert last winter (before I started my blog) and it's become one of my favorite go-to outfits to dress up a little in the fall and winter. Heeled boots take the look from everyday to going-out worthy and statement earrings dress up the look as well. Thanks for tuning into my fall skirt series this month! It was a fun challenge to find 4 different ways to style this skirt that stood out from each other.

Sorry for the quick post ~ I have 3 exams this week in addition to the normal hectic class and work schedule, so I'm barely going to have a moment to breathe! Hope you all have a fabulous week :)

mint + black.
10.20.2012

Top: Forever 21 (Sold out, but I love this mint & black blouse). Shorts: (same shorts, different color here). Heels: Aldo Shoes (love this Steve Madden pair).

There's no denying that color-blocking and the color mint have been two of the biggest trends in fashion recently.
Mint is a versatile color that looks gorgeous on everyone and works in spring/summer with other pastels but also works when the weather turns cold because of its icy undertones. Color-blocking is another trend that's been circulating the past several months, but I've had a little more trouble styling it because I don't typically different solid colors together at one time (a peek at my closet would reveal my love of neutrals). SO, I loved that this top had built-in color-blocking and also loved the crisp, clean contrast between the mint and the black.

10.16.2012

Jacket: Forever 21 (similar here). Skirt: PacSun (cute ones here and here). Boots: Antonio Melani from Dillards (here). Bag: Aldo (old).

This is a way I like to style skirts for colder weather! Sometimes I get tired of wearing jeans virtually every day, so the skirt, tights and boots combination can be a great way to mix it up, even if it's chilly out. Add a wool or [faux] leather jacket and a scarf, and you've made your look warmer and trendier!

On another note, have you heard of the new iPhone app called Pose?? I just discovered it a couple of weeks ago and I've been having so much fun with it! I describe it to people as a sort of fashion-specific Instagram where you post your outfits and then tag where the pieces are from, so users can then shop the looks. If you have the app I would love the connect with you ~ my username is @jacylenore {same as Instagram}.

Anjolee necklace.
10.12.2012

Top: Francesca's (here). Skinny jeans: American Eagle (here). Booties: Target (here). Necklace: Anjolee (here).

I had the wonderful pleasure of getting to partner with Anjolee Jewelry recently and I absolutely love their things! Anjolee specializes in customizable diamond jewelry including bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings. Anjolee lets you choose your metal type, carat weight, diamond quality and other features, so you receive exactly the piece you want! They were fabulous to work with and got my necklace to me so quickly, which of course made me so so excited.

The necklace I'm wearing is the Surrounded by Sparkle Diamond Pendant. I love how delicate it is and that it's the perfect piece to throw on to add a little bit of sparkle to any outfit! I'm also in love with their Diamond Tennis Bracelets and gorgeous Diamond Earrings.

I hope you enjoyed and find something you love on their site...their jewelry is just fabulous!

4 Ways to Style a Fall Skirt {2}.
10.09.2012

Blouse: Forever 21 (sold out, but similar versions here and here). Skirt: PacSun (old, but similar versions here and here).

I wanted to show a dressier way I like to style this tribal-print bodycon skirt, and what better way to do that than with the season's most popular color: burgundy! I was so fortunate to find such a pretty blouse for such a great price on Forever 21.com, and I'm looking forward to styling it all kinds of different ways this fall and winter.

But back to this outfit... I love the versatility of this skirt and the contrast between a casual look like last time and a dressy look for going out as I've shown here! I also styled this outfit with nude suede platform pumps, but Jo and I just couldn't resist shooting in this gorgeous field!

criss cross.
10.05.2012

Blouse: Tobi.com (here and also a different color here at Sabo Skirt). Skinny jeans: American Eagle (here). Wedges: Mossimo from Target (here). Bag: Aldo (old). Watch: Fossil (here).

I have always been drawn to a more Bohemian aesthetic, but I've found that sometimes it's hard to make it look classy and put-together, and lately I've been trying to achieve that look more as I near the end of college. I fell in love with this gorgeous lilac criss-cross blouse immediately on Tobi.com because it's a perfect marriage of the two aesthetics (and it doesn't hurt that it's my favorite color)! Because of the extra-flowy fit, I styled it with my American Eagle jeggings, which have proven to be my favorite skinny jeans of all time, and topped off the look with a colorful bag and shoes!
