Spring/Summer Mood Board + Shopbop Sale Picks
4.11.2018

Love, Lenore spring/summer mood board
Gingham dress (want! even though I just ordered this one)  |  earrings  |  mules
hat  |  bag  |  sunglasses

I'm feeling so inspired this spring, and just love the fashion scene/trends at the moment! The light earthy tones, woven textures, subtle prints, little details - it's all so good! My wardrobe is definitely coming together for the spring and summer seasons...now I just need some warm, sunny weather here in the Midwest! I included some spring/summer picks below, but a few of my current favorites that can't be linked in the widget are Maude, Shop Lux and Zara.

If you're in the mood for some spring and summer shopping, Shopbop just kicked off an amazing sale! My floral wrap dress and pink backpack are included in the sale, and I ordered these platform sandals, as well as these mules here & here to try on and decide between. Details and my picks are below 👇

Elevated Basics
4.27.2017

cute way to style a white t-shirt + jeans
Rebecca Minkoff black crossbody bag

One of my top shopping priorities or tactics is to always have accessories that can make the most simple of outfits "pop." In this case I'm just wearing a basic tee + skinny jeans, but I made it a [blog-worthy] styled look with a few great accessories.

high-waisted skinny jeans

If you're on the hunt for a great pair of high-waisted skinny jeans that are bank account friendly, these are your jeans! I've been wearing them so much and have been neglecting all of my other jeans! They actually hit my natural waist (above my belly button), have a really good slimming, stretchy fit, and the raw hem is perfect. Oh, and they're $30!! I'm typically a size 2, but got a 4 in these (H&M bottoms tend to run quite small).

Tee (I also have in black - they're the best little tees!)  |  Jeans ($30!)
Sandals  |  Bag  |  Hat (look for less)  |  Similar Bandana Scarf Similar Necklace

If you've been wanting to get in on the bandana/neck scarf trend, then I found some gorgeous options here and here. I've found mine to be surprisingly versatile because you can tie them onto a bag (like I did here), or wear them a few different ways around your neck (I showed some options in this post).

I hope you girls are having a great week! My bestie & incredible photographer Jo (you'll want to follow her!) is coming into town to stay with us tonight and then tomorrow we'll head up to Columbia for a couple of photo shoots and to visit my best friend from college (shoutout to Ash!) and Brianna! It's going to be an amazing couple of days and I'm looking forward to seeing almost all of my girls!

Star Top, Round Three

Seeing as this is my third time blogging this little star print top, can you tell how much I love it?? ★ You can see my other blog posts here and here, but I've also worn it many more ways in daily life too (including for work). I never thought a $15ish top would become such a versatile piece for me!

summer trend: silver hardware | Rebecca Minkoff "darling" crossbody bag

I've been looking for the perfect crossbody bag for spring and summer, and instantly loved this one that I ordered during the Shopbop sale a couple of weeks ago. I'm such a fan of pretty much everything Rebecca Minkoff designs, and this is now my third bag from them (4th all-time). I think this will be the perfect bag to tie some bandana scarves on to customize it for different outfits. I'm loving all of the chic bandana options here and here.

I also wanted to remind you guys about a giveaway I have going on for a gift certificate to Mixology! They're a new-to-me site that my friend Brianna orders from, and I love that they have a lot of unique pieces! Check out the giveaway in this post.

Sweatshirt (also comes in gray; c/o Shopbop)  |  Jeans  |  Similar Ankle Boots  |  Similar Hats  |  Bag

I had to buy this Free People short-sleeve sweatshirt as soon as I saw it. It's so comfy + cute! I love that you can throw it on with jeans and sneakers to run errands, and then simply upgrade to an ankle boot and a couple of other accessories for a really cute casual look. It does run a little big though, fyi (I'm wearing a small).

Also, a few random shopping notes since I was absent from the blog last week....

My dusty blue Rebecca Minkoff bag is back in stock this spring! You can see it in posts here, here and here

I discovered a new-to-me brand called Re:named and ordered the cutest floral dress on sale for $42 that you'll see on here soon!

Abercrombie jeans are on sale for $35 today! I'm definitely going to order this high-waisted pair, but may pick out another pair too.

Sugarfix, the Baublebar x Target collection that I'm obsessed with, is buy-one-get-one 50% off both in-stores and online this week (through the 25th)! I have these star earrings and get so many compliments on them.

Like I mentioned in yesterday's October Wish List post, I'm currently obsessed with everything stars, moon and lightning right now! This lace-up star print top under $16 is one of my favorite finds in awhile! It's a tiny bit edgy while also being very wearable - love.

I've rounded up a bunch of stellar finds below... Zara has a lot of gorgeous things that I couldn't put in the widget so I'll link them here: star print dress (been on my list for 2 months!), star print bodysuit, star print top, star belt, and star hair band (so pretty!).

Hat: Janessa Leone (c/o Shopbop) | Booties: Seychelles (love these!)
Bag: Zara | Choker: Urban Outfitters
Lipstick: 'Lolita'

I love putting together fun outfits for concerts because I feel like you can wear something a little more daring than you usually do, so I wanted to share this outfit that I wore for the Beyonce concert weekend before last! I had planned to wear a hat that night and sadly left it at home, but I went ahead and wore one for photos to complete the look ;)

Speaking of hats, I finally got my first Janessa Leone hat! I've only wanted one for about two years, so I'm over the moon excited about it. My exact hat is currently sold out, but I love ALL of her designs and how they fit! I ordered mine from Shopbop in two sizes because they have free 3-day shipping and free returns, so it wasn't a big deal for me to try both out and get the perfect fit.
