Bag: Zara (similar here & here) | Sandals: H&M (nearly identical here)
Sunnies: Karen Walker | Lip Color: 'velvet teddy' + 'whirl'

This Monday morning is hitting me so hard! I'm so sleepy and it's pouring outside - ugh. We did have a great weekend though! My sister stayed with us, we hung out with some friends, cooked some good food, I got several blog photos knocked out, and I got to do a Snapchat takeover for one of my favorite denim brands, Articles of Society (snap username: aosdenim).

This is another look that we shot in Nashville! I packed different outfits for days and nights on our trip, but ended up wearing this dress start to finish one day because it's really the perfect dress to dress up or down. During the day I went for a simple, heat friendly look pictured here for lunch at Butchertown Hall in the Germantown neighborhood (we took these photos on the side of the restaurant) and lots and lots of exploring around the city. This dress hangs so nicely that it's great for a hot day. At night it was so easy to dress up too...all I did was throw on a pair of heeled sandals, a clutch, and a choker necklace (and ditched the hat). I think it will be a perfect fall transition dress too with ankle boots and a cardigan, denim jacket, or even a chic blazer. Needless to say, I'm so glad I bought it! This is my first purchase from the brand ASTR, but I'm completely obsessed with so much of their stuff and plan to buy lots more in the future.

Top: Banana Republic (old, similar here + more below) | Jeans: Forever 21
Bag: The Limited | Wedges: Target (love these)
Headband: Do-Da Wraps c/o (navy/white vertical stripes in turban style) | Necklace: Forever 21 (similar here & here)
Watch: Fossil | Bracelet: Reece & Blair from Crave Boutique

One of my favorite ways to add a little 'vavavoom' in the spring and summer (or to cover up humidity-stricken or unwashed hair) is wearing headbands! I'm loving my new navy & white turban headband from Do-Da Wraps, and it's going to be perfect for anything from work (like styled above) to a top knot at the pool. Do-Da Wraps is a new favorite Etsy shop, and I love Sarahn's quick turnaround time, adorable fabrics, and wonderful customer service. Something I really liked was that any of the fabrics on her Etsy page can be made as a headwrap or the turban style, and that my headband is smooth and stretchy (much more comfortable than headbands I've owned in the past). Be sure to check out Do-Da Wraps, and take 25% off your entire order with the code 'JACY25'!

Top: Banana Republic (love this one) | Skirt: H&M (cute floral skirt here)
Heels: Target | Necklace: Forever 21

Well, it's still over 90 degrees here, so no fall dressing for me. However, I did pull this skirt out of the back of my closet because it makes a great transition piece. It was summery enough to wear to work yesterday, but the fall colors were nice to incorporate. This skirt will be great to wear with booties and a chambray shirt once the temps cool down a little!

Heels: Target | Necklace: Forever 21
Bracelet: vintage

I bought this ultra-feminine pleated skirt back in May, and I'm just in love with it! I probably should have gotten around to styling it earlier, but better late than never right? :) Anyways, I love the trendy 'midi' length and the pale pink color! Those of you that have followed my blog for awhile...have you noticed that my style has gradually gotten more girly over the last year?? I'm not sure why that is, but I guess it's part of the evolution and maturation of one's style.

Top: Banana Republic (similar here and here) | Skirt: ASOS
Heels: Target (similar) | Bracelet: vintage | Nails: Essie 'Bachelorette Bash'
Necklace: Forever 21 (LOVE this one)

I don't know if you remember or not, but I did an ASOS wishlist post a few weeks ago and went on and on about this skirt and here it finally is! (Don't get me started on their current sale...it's about to do disastrous things to my bank account) Because of the bold print of the skirt, I stuck with a white tank but made it a little more interesting by choosing an eyelet version.

Also, my hair seems to be doing some sort of natural ombre thing... This lightening is due to the fact that I haven't colored my hair in a couple of months (oops!)...but probably a little bit of sunlight too. I'm honestly procrastinating because I'm currently going through some major hair color boredom and am being really indecisive as to what to do next. I'm naturally dirty blonde (surprise!) but have had it dark brown for two years and auburn the year before that.
Any hair color ideas would be greatly appreciated! HELP.

Jacy
