How was your weekend? Anyone else have a serious case of the Monday blues this week? My weekend seemed to evaporate in the blink of an eye. Friday night I helped throw a bridal shower, Saturday I logged about 12 hours for dance recitals, and yesterday I did a ton of much-needed cleaning around the house. Needless to say, I'm feeling accomplished but pretty sleepy this morning.

As soon as I found this tank online I knew I had to have it. The color is absolutely perfect! I also love the higher neckline and split back...details that make it a little more interesting than your average summer tank top. I think the split back will be so cute over high-rise cutoffs this summer! Also, please forgive my dirty, messy bun. After a long day of cleaning, doing my hair for photos was about the last thing I wanted to do ;)

It's no secret that I'm loving off-the-shoulder everything right now (check out a couple of other looks here & here)! I kept the majority of this look fairly simple as an easy date night or girls dinner look to throw on in a hurry. The fact that this top is off-the-shoulder is already a bit of a statement + I added statement earrings for a small pop of color. Most off-the-shoulder tops tend to be shorter in length, so I like that this one is more of a tunic!

Do you ever have an outfit idea in your mind for ages before you actually own the pieces? That was 100% the case with this look. I've wanted to style it for a couple of months but finally found the right top + distressed jeans. Meaning, you finally don't have to read about my ridiculously long search for distressed denim anymore. **Collective sigh of relief**

This is my first pair of AG jeans and I'm in love. They have some pretty amazing stretch without stretching out (I did need to size down though). This is actually my first pair of high-end denim all-together, and I officially have the bug. If you use the cost-per-wear model, denim is definitely one of the best things to invest in because you'll wear a great pair of jeans hundreds of times, making your cost-per-wear extremely low. Shopbop has such a great selection of denim, including the brands Rag & Bone and J Brand that I really want to try as well.
