I'm honestly not sure how to describe what makes an outfit look street style vs. not street style. It's definitely a gray area, but these photos were shot next to a street...so does that count?? ;) Really though, I think "street style" evokes a casual, effortless sense of style, and when I wear sneakers I totally feel that vibe. For this look I revamped a couple of old pieces (my cutoffs and button-down) with a few fun accessories and it made a completely fresh look. I'll always be a big believer in the power of good accessories (*insert praise hands emoji*).

In other news, it's a-l-m-o-s-t a 3-day weekend! Praise sweet baby Jesus because I need a few days off in a serious way, and I'm certain I'm not alone in that. We're going camping part of this weekend, which is pretty funny because I am definitely not the camping type. But I'm excited to spend time with family and friends so I'll just have to tough it out I guess ;)

I have wanted these sneakers for sooo long. Back in the winter when I officially decided I wanted them they were sold out everywhere so I bought Adidas Superstars instead. I loved those too, but it turns out that my sister really wanted some, so I gave her mine and finally got my coveted Stan Smiths (which are just a little more "me")! Long story short, I frickin' love these sneakers. I wore them all weekend and they're simply the best...so chic and so comfy!

Also this Jack by BB Dakota top was a boutique purchase last week but I found it online for you guys. I love that it's oversized and lightweight so it can be worn now with shorts (on non-sweltering days at least) and all fall and winter in a variety of ways. I love the lace-up detailing, but that it's not too low. You can wear a normal bra with it! It's the little things, #amiright?

While I've always been one to love dressing up (I wear heels to work nearly every day), I can't get enough of the sporty-chic/athleisure trends! I just love being comfy lately...probably because I'm so freaking busy these days. So shout out to Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and their uh-maze stylist Monica Rose for gifting us this beautiful trend!

Weekend Casual 2.18.2016

I wore this over the weekend out to breakfast with Trey and my parents and it was the perfect comfy-chic look for the day (especially after being in heels and a tight dress the night before haha). I can't ever turn down a great gray or black sweater, and I love that this one is longer so it's perfect to wear with leggings.

Also, I've been wearing my Adidas Superstars every chance I get! They're so so comfy, and I just think they're adorable. If you've been debating on getting them, I can't recommend them enough!

Adidas Superstars 2.02.2016

If you follow me on Snapchat (jacylenore) then you know I've been wanting some Adidas sneakers for quite awhile now. They are tough to get ahold of though! I finally lucked out and got these + found some Stan Smiths in my size so they're on the way too - I can't wait! Just know to order one whole size down in Adidas sneakers...I learned the hard way ;)

I know I've been wearing my leather leggings tons and tons lately (seriously, Trey over the weekend said "wow, you're wearing those out again??" haha), but they are a match made in heaven paired with sneakers. Not only are they a super chic, fashion-forward pairing, but both are also so so comfy - always a win, win in my book!
