Current Skincare Routine

I haven't talked about skincare in awhile and have tried a ton of new products in the past few months, so I thought I would share my current skincare routine with you! I pared down this post to my absolute staple items that I use most regularly, but I definitely have lots of others that I frequently use and like a lot. I've included a couple of awesome coupon codes in the post for you guys, so make sure you take advantage of those!

I talked about how much acne.org products have helped my acne in this post, and after a full year of using this regimen I'm as dedicated as ever. I've never had a product (besides prescribed oral medication) work so well. Using this regimen has cleared up all of the blackheads on and around my nose, as well as the tons of tiny bumps I had around my mouth and chin for years. The cleanser is super gentle, the benzoyl peroxide is so effective, and the moisturizer is lightweight and perfect under makeup.

After you take a quiz about your skin, acne.org recommends a regimen for you. What I love about their program is how educational it is. They have very detailed videos explaining how you should use the products (seriously, watch them!) and every package comes with instructions as well. When you have acne you may feel like you need to scrub your skin, but acne.org's approach is that you should be as gentle as possible, and it's definitely worked for me. The cleansing method was totally new to me! I've found that their products are great value for the money and last a very long time. Pictured above I have the largest size of the cleanser (what I go through fastest), and the medium sizes of the benzoyl peroxide and moisturizer. I also use their jojoba oil (below) and their AHA/Glycolic Acid (which exfoliates chemically versus using a scrub). I also want to say that I have never collaborated with this brand. I promote their products because they have been pretty life-changing for me. If I get lazy with it for just a few days, I notice a huge difference in my skin. One of my best friends recommended this to me and after seeing her before and after photos I was sold. Now, my sister and other best friend use it religiously as well. We all can't rave about it enough!

While I usually use my acne.org cleanser, I have also fallen in love with this Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm (c/o). I've never used a product that's so good at taking off makeup! It also leaves your skin truly radiant after. I can honestly never believe how soft my skin feels after using it - before I even put on a serum and moisturizer. If I'm wearing a full face of makeup I use this to remove it at night, and I also like using it if I take a nighttime shower. You can get 20% off any full priced Colleen Rothschild products with the code LENORE20 for one week only (so through 6/28)! This is a product I will repurchase again and again.

If my skin needs extra hydration beyond my basic moisturizer (pretty common), then I supplement with my acne.org jojoba oil or my Colleen Rothschild Extreme Recovery Cream (c/o)! Both work so well and don't break me out! If I use the jojoba oil, I simply add 2-3 drops into my acne moisturizer. The Colleen Rothschild cream is kind of a whipped texture, so it's very lightweight (not greasy at all like a lot of high end creams), and it works wonders when my skin is dry. Like I mentioned above, you can get 20% off your full priced Colleen Rothschild order with the code LENORE20 this week only!

I shared about all of my favorite masks in this post, but wanted to include my three most-used masks in this post since I feel they're an important part of my skincare routine. The Origins charcoal mask is so great for cleaning out pores and a little goes a long way! I've used this 1oz tube once per week since December and you can see in the photo that it still looks completely full. It's a great value! If I feel a breakout coming on or have worn a lot of makeup a few days straight, I use this to clear out my pores. It also works as a spot treatment if you have a large blemish you want to dry out.

The Mario Badescu whitening mask is newer to my routine, but it definitely helps my skin glow a bit more and I do feel like some of my acne scarring and dark spots are fading! This also smells really nice and a little goes a long way, so I plan to stick with it.

As soon as Tula sent me their Exfoliating Treatment Mask, it became a staple in my weekly rotation. It truly helps to remove dry skin and will leave your skin feeling so soft and fresh afterwards. You can get 20% off site-wide at Tula with free shipping by using the code SHOP20!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you got some helpful info. The only thing missing from my skincare routine is an eye cream that I love. I'm currently using one from Kiehls and I'm not crazy about it so I didn't include it in this post. I'm thinking of trying one from Tula or Colleen Rothschild since I like their other products, but I would love to hear your suggestions!
