Burgundy Shift Dress

Dress: c/o Maude (TTS, also comes in blue. burgundy not pictured, but is available in drop-down)
Flats: Steve Madden (TTS) | Bag: Vince
Hat: Forever 21 (similar) | Necklace: Kendra Scott
Lips Color: MAC 'velvet teddy'

This is one of my favorite dresses - ever! Burgundy is probably my favorite non-neutral to wear (a whole shopping post dedicated to it here), and I love the unique faux suede fabric of this dress. The cut makes it really versatile too! I think it would look amazing dressed up with tights, heeled booties (like these), and a statement necklace for the holidays, or with a cardigan or leather jacket and ankle boots for another casual option. So, for under $50 it's a really versatile and flattering buy! It's from Maude, one of my new favorite places to shop. They have a ridiculous amount of unique and adorable things! Follow me on Instagram for a giveaway to Maude starting tonight!

How was your Halloween?? We live in a really good trick-or-treating neighborhood and held our second annual family & friends Halloween gathering, so we had a blast making yummy food and drinks and hanging out with family all evening. As of probably 3:30 on Saturday we didn't have costumes (we are major procrastinators), but we pulled together Paul Bunyan and Rosie the Riveter costumes and called it a day! I have some good ideas for next year, so I just need to start working on them a few weeks in advance!

In other news, the Kansas City Royals won the World Series last night and we are pretty over the moon about it! Considering that the majority of Missouri is Cardinals-obsessed and the fact that the Royals were legitimately really bad for many years, it feels pretty amazing to have watched them come so far.
