This Month's Favorites + Cyber Monday
11.30.2015

How on earrrttthhhh is it Monday already?? I got Wednesday - Friday off last week, but that 5-day weekend vanished before my eyes.

Somehow, December is also just about here (whoa.) so it's time for my monthly edition of This Month's Favorites

Favorite New Lip Colors

Tarte 'Fiery' (mine is a sample) and Kat Von D 'Lolita' (available online right now - it's usually sold out!)

Favorite Fashion Purchase

After going a bit wild with online shopping the last couple of months, I've finally come back to my senses. However, I have zero regrets when it comes to purchasing these gorgeous black leather ankle boots. I wear them constantly with both work and casual outfits.

Favorite Highlight

Purchasing a new car on Wednesday!

We've needed to replace Trey's car for awhile and finally took the plunge last week. We decided on a Jeep Cherokee and we're obsessed!

Favorite Outfit Post

All outfit details are in this post.

Favorite Holiday Activity

Decorating our Christmas tree. I shared some of my favorite holiday decor finds last night if you're like me and still building up your collection of ornaments, wreaths and such.

Favorite Links

Justin Bieber's 'Purpose: The Movement' vidoes. He created dance-focused videos for every song on his album (non-deluxe version) and is only in one of them, so he features a lot of phenomenal dancers of various styles. As a former dancer I LOVE this concept. "I'll Show You," "Love Yourself," and the duet in "Company" are my favorites.

Christmas Decor
11.29.2015

I have the best childhood memories of decorating my family's home for Christmas with my sister, especially decorating our tree. Now I have my own home and starting last year, I purchased a few Christmas decorations and started curating my own collection of ornaments. I still don't have a lot of Christmas decor, so I've been watching for the perfect items to pick up. I love having a neutral white, gold and silver theme, but I love the occasional pop of color with some red berries or fun ornaments! Let me know if you've picked up any gorgeous decorations I need to know about!

My holiday gift guides will be rolling out later this week so stay tuned!

11.27.2015

Happy Thanksgiving weekend! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving day . Ours absolutely flew by but we got to see both of our families and it was a great day. I meant to have this Black Friday sale round-up live early this morning but I accidentally slept in until almost 11! Guess I needed to catchup on sleep...

There are some AMAZING sales going on though. Even better than I remember in years past! I'm going to try my very hardest not to get anything for myself and only do Christmas shopping. Please tell me I'm not the only one who sometimes falls into the "one for you and one for me" trap?! It's hard to turn down a great deal ya know?

But in all seriousness, I love that you can get great deals from home these days... I'm really enjoying snuggling with my hubby and doggies as I put this post together and do some Christmas shopping :)

Thanksgiving Outfit Idea
11.25.2015

Comfortable winter outfit
Turtleneck sweater
Cream turtleneck
Long sweater with leggings and over the knee boots
Thanksgiving outfit idea
Cream turtleneck sweater
Sweater: F21 (similar here, here) | Leggings: Zella (can't recommend enough!)
Boots: Steve Madden (sizes still available here - use code THANKS for 20% off!) | Hat: ASOS
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (15% off w/ code GOBIG15) | Lipstick: tarte 'fiery'

I always like to think ahead about a couple of outfit options for upcoming holidays and events - one that's a bit dressier and one that's a bit more casual so I have options for whatever scenario plays out. An oversized and/or long sweater with leggings and boots is something most of us can pull out of our closets tomorrow and be comfortable in all day. If you want to go a bit dressier but still feel season appropriate, I suggest a sweater dress or other fall dress/skirt with tall boots or ankle boots! I'm considering wearing this dress tomorrow, but I haven't decided yet.

For Thanksgiving tomorrow, we'll start off our day with Trey's family (a huge family gathering) and then finish it off with my family, which will just be the few of us this year. I can't wait to spend the day with all of them!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm so thankful for all of you and it means the world to have your support.

Today begins one of the best Shopbop sales of the year! The more you spend the more you save, so it's the perfect opportunity to splurge on something for yourself + purchase gifts for loved ones. Shopbop also has free 3-day shipping and free returns, which gives me peace of mind when buying an investment piece or trying new denim, etc. Use code GOBIG15 at checkout through November 30 (see details & exclusions here)!

I'm definitely going to order some jeans (I need a non-distressed dark wash pair), but I'm still deciding on the rest. Wallet, Clare V clutch, Free People sweater, Rebecca Minkoff crossbody? So hard to decide!

Flannel
11.23.2015

Flannel: June & Beyond Boutique (similar) | Tee: Madewell
Jeans: Articles of Society | Ankle Boots: Seychelles

I hope you had a great weekend! We had a pretty low-key weekend at home and watched a lot of football and a lot of Star Wars ;)  We decided to do a Star Wars marathon to prep for the new one coming out in a few weeks and it's been so fun to watch them together (my first time watching them in probably 8-10 years).  I'm actually quite motivated this Monday morning because I just have a two-day work week! Trey and I are lucky to have the same employer (school district), so we both get Thanksgiving break from Wednesday-Sunday :) I'm pretty stinkin excited about a 5-day weekend! And to spend some time with our families.

This low-key, casual look is one I threw together this weekend for a lunch date. I had forgotten how comfortable flannels are, so I've been wearing mine quite a bit and experimenting with different ways to style it. What's your favorite way to style a flannel?

How to Style a Blanket Scarf

Colorful sweater and blanket scarf

Sweater: c/o Aerie (true-to-size + comes in 5 colors) | Blanket Scarf: c/o Aerie (7 color options)
Jeans: H&M | Boots: Steve Madden (20% off here w/ code LTLOVE & all sizes available)

Today I'm so excited to be partnering with one of my favorite brands, Aerie, to style their new Bonfire Sweater and blanket scarf! I've been a big fan of Aerie since college because of their beautiful styles, ultra-soft fabrics and body-positive, female-empowering messages. This sweater and scarf are legitimately the softest things I own! I couldn't believe how soft and cozy they were. A lot of times scarves really irritate my skin after several hours, but this one is truly comfortable enough to wear all day. In this post I wanted to show a couple of different ways to style it, but it also makes a great little wrap. It also comes in 7 different color/plaid options, and I'm planning to buy some as Christmas gifts! This sweater comes in 5 colors (including a pretty cream & burgundy) and is so soft and cozy that you'll truly want to keep lounging in it once you get home. While I typically stick to neutrals, I loved this gorgeous mustard color and that it adds a nice pop of color to my fall/winter wardrobe. It's just the right amount of oversized, and I like that it's a different length than most of my sweaters.

Also, I know a lot of you have been interested in my OTK boots! I just found them for 20% off here when you use the code LTLOVE & it looks like all sizes are still available! I went down 1/2 size and they fit perfectly.

Check out my post on Aerie's blog to see more! Have a great weekend!

Rainy Day Layers
11.19.2015

Jacket: c/o Lookbook Store | Sweater: June & Beyond Boutique
Boots: Hunter |  Leggings: Zella (my favorite ever!)
Bag: Marc by Marc JacobsTee: H&M

This look is super casual for me to blog, but we had a lot of rain this week and it was the first chance I've had to wear my new Hunter boots. I'm so happy I finally bought them! They're such good quality and actually pretty flattering for rain boots. I almost went out on a limb and bought them in red... but went with the black after all... no surprises there ;)

Favorites Under $50
11.18.2015

I'm constantly watching for great pieces under $50 so that I can really maximize my shopping budget. While I most definitely value investment pieces whenever possible, the reality is that sometimes I'd rather get 3 cheaper sweaters for the price of 1 nicer sweater, especially if it's something more trendy that I might not wear for multiple seasons.

Below are some of my favorite budget finds as of late. Simply click on the photos to shop!

Go-To Classics
11.17.2015

Jacket: ASOS | Shirt: Forever 21 (similar)
Jeans: H&M | Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Shoes: Seychelles
This is one of those classic go-to outfits that you can put together with existing pieces in your closet. When I'm in a bind over what to wear, I choose simple classics like these because they never fail to look put-together.

Complete change of subject... But I would love to know what gift guides you want to see (if any)! I know a lot of bloggers do gift guides, so if you want something different I would love your feedback and requests. I personally l-o-v-e Christmas shopping, so I'm excited to be getting started!

Fall Dress
11.16.2015

Dress: c/o SheIn (under $20! true-to-size, but more gray in person vs. black online)
Boots: Steve Madden (various sizes available here, here & here)
Bag: Zara | Hat: Asos

I LOVE a great fall dress, especially when paired with over-the-knee boots. That pairing is definitely a go-to for me, and I find it to be so flattering and fashion-forward! This one is under $20 and is one of my favorite SheIn finds to-date. I think it would be perfect for Thanksgiving and it also looks adorable with ankle boots or lace-up flats!

I hope you had a great weekend! This was our first post-football-season weekend and we took full advantage by cuddling up at home for most of it. Our pups were sooooo happy to snuggle with their dad all weekend ;)

November Wish List
11.13.2015

Hat (have in tan & it's the best!) | Sweater | Bralette (on sale for $20)
Bag | Lace Blouse (love this too) | Jeans
OTK Boots | Blanket Scarf (5 colors) | Sunglasses (rent free for a month w/ code 'lovelenore')

I'm finally sharing this month's wish list, but better late than never, right? This month's collection is a bit more random than usual, but I'm starting to feel caught up on the fall/winter staples I was missing. I will admit...I've been a little shoe crazy lately! Definitely need to slow down in that department. As always I'm building up my closet with my favorite neutrals - black, gray and cream - but am currently loving subtle bits of color like burgundy and dusty rose.

Notables...

-It's completely irrational for me to want this coat considering the price, but I can't help it. I love all of the colors and the cut. Too chic!

-I recently purchased these lace-up flats and they're unbelievably comfy while also being super chic! They also come in black, but I love this unique gray-taupe color.

-I'm keeping my eye out for blouses with pretty details because they're perfect for holiday gatherings! Crazy as it seems, the holidays are coming up on us at a rapid rate! I love this one and hope it comes back in my size.

-I own this fringe sweater (worn here), but want this one as well! I also want to expand my collection of comfy but pretty lace bralettes, and may have to pick up this one on sale with free shipping today!

Sales to Know About...

-The Sephora VIB sale today through Monday, 11/16! You can get 20% off at Sephora, so it's a great time to stock up on gifts (what I'm buying) and any products you've been wanting to try or stock up on :) Use code VIB20 at checkout.
-Forever 21 Friends and Family sale! I couldn't find an end date for this sale, but as of right now you can get 20% off on full-price items (use code FRIENDS)! I'm definitely getting this sweater.

Have a great weekend!

Henley
11.12.2015

Tee: c/o Lookbook Store (runs short) | Flannel: June & Beyond (local boutique; similar online here)
Jeans: H&M (have had these over a year & still love them!) | Shoes: Seychelles

This look is a little more edgy for me, but I've been trying to step outside of my comfort zone lately. I like that this flannel added a subtle pop of color + I like a little bit of the 90s in small doses ;)

On another note... I've never been very good at doing my hair and as I'm sure you've noticed, I pretty much always wear it the same way (down & wavy)! So, I've been trying to experiment a bit more as my hair type and length allow - top knot here, and half-up in this post. If you have any more ideas for me let me know! :)

Jacy
